The Miller Christmas Party Gone Hot
from Dean_Miller on 01/01/2026 01:27 AMDean and Laura have been married for few months now and it would be their first Christmas as husband and wife, along with Pruitt, which made them quiet the little family. Dean, Laura and Prue were at the mall, checking things out and pointing out things that they would love to get for Christmas. And of course, Prue was pointing out everything her little eyes could see, which made both Dean and Laura laugh. But as they were all walking through the mall, Dean came up with an idea, that normally he wouldn't do, because he didn't like to have a lot of people over at their house. But it was a display in one of the windows that made Dean want to do this. They stood there looking at the display when Dean began to speak to Laura. "Babe," he started to say. "Let's have a Christmas party," he told as he looked at the display and then turned to look at Laura, who was looking back at him with a surprise look.
Dean couldn't help but chuckle as she continued to look at him in surprise. "I know I know," he started to tell her. "I usually don't like a bunch of people over at the house at one time," he told her. "But with it being the holidays, I was thinking that maybe it would be good to do something with our family and friends," he said. "Well, more so our friends, since you don't have any family left and mine, really doesn't like all that much," he said. "Though my sister loves you," he adds trying to correct what he said. He knew when he brought up their families that he crossed a line because he could see the hurt in her eyes. Dean the wrapped his arms around her and softly kissed her neck. "I'm sorry baby," he whispered to Laura as he went on talking. "Say, why don't we take Prue to see Santa and then I'll treat my girls to a cup of hot chocolate?" he asked her as Prue turned to look up at Dean and Laura with excitement in her eyes.

from Laura_Cartwright on 01/03/2026 07:50 AMLaura stood there for a while, listening to Dean talk about everything he wanted to do. And not only did it shock her, but it surprised her as well. Though she would never tell Dean this, she had always wanted to have a little Christmas party with a few friends and maybe some family members. She didn't want anything too big, because she hated to clean up, plus she knew that Dean hated having a messy home. They stood there for a few minutes more looking at each other as Dean bent over and picked up Prue as he waited for Laura to say something. Finally, Laura let out a sigh as she began speaking to him. "Are you sure you want to have a Christmas Party?" she asked him. "Because you know you're mom and dad will want to come and I am not sure I can handle them right now," she told him. Then Laura went silent again as she went deep in thought about everything he had just said. Yeah she knew he was being a bit insensitive at the moment about the fact that she didn't have any family, but then again, she did have family. She had Dean and Prue and that was good enough for her.
Laura then began to speak again as she reached up and softly touched Dean's face. "First off, don't worry about me not having a family because I do have a family," she said happily. "And that family is you and Prue," she told him as she smiled at him and then watched him softly smile at her. "So, what I'm saying is if you want to invite your mom, dad and sister plus a few of the guys from the station house over for a Christmas party, then I'm fine with it," she said with a chuckle. "But in the meantime, I think your idea of taking Prue to see Santa is a good idea," she said with a huge smile. Then she asked Prue if that was what she would like and Prue got excited. Then as Dean, who was still carrying Prue, and Laura was walking towards Santa's Village, Laura began to speak again, this time it had to do with hot chocolate. "I also think your idea of getting us some hot chocolate and maybe a sugar cookie or two because you can't have hot chocolate without a sugar cookie," she said with a lovable chuckle as she wrapped her arm around his and laid her head on his shoulder, letting out a content sigh.

from Dean_Miller on 02/09/2026 08:00 AM"Yes, I'm sure," he told her. "I want this Christmas to be really special for not only Pru, but for you too," Dean said, knowing she had no clue as to what Dean was up too. Dean knew his family could be a bit much, even for Laura, but he wasn't going to leave her alone with them. But he also knew that, even though Laura says she didn't know if she had the strength to handle his mom and dad, she was stronger than she gave herself credit for. As they both stood close together, Dean still holding Pru, he began to speak to Laura soft and gentle. "I know they give you a really hard time, but I promise you right here and now that I won't let them ruin your Christmas," he told her as he looked deep into here eyes and had a huge smile on his face. "Besides, I think Santa might have something extra special planned for you and for Pru," he said still smiling. Laura couldn't help but blush and that was when Dean knew that he had gotten through to her. After telling him that she was fine if his family and friends coming over for a Christmas party, the smile on Dean's face grew bigger.
"I knew you would come around," Dean said as he leaned in and softly kissed Laura on top of the head. Then he turned and kissed Pru on the cheek, which she giggled as they began to walk towards Santa's Village. As they were walking, Dean listened to all of Laura's suggestions and he couldn't help but smile. "I think that would be a wonderful idea," he said happily as they finally reached Santa's Village. They knew that the line to see Santa was going to be long, but they had no idea that it was going to be almost a 3-hour wait to see Santa, with breaks in-between. Dean looked at Laura with an annoying look to his face, and she couldn't help but giggle a little bit as they got in line. Both Dean and Laura knew how badly she wanted to see Santa, so they sacrificed their time just for her. Then Dean turned and looked at Laura and began to reply to what she had suggested earlier. "I love that idea, though I don't know if we will make it in time to get hot chocolate and sugar cookies since we have to stand here for so long," Dean said, hoping Laura wasn't too disappointed.
